Old Batumi and Europe Square
Best for first visits, short city breaks, architecture and dining. You can walk to Piazza, the port, Miracle Park and much of the central Boulevard. Expect more evening activity and less convenient parking.
Old Boulevard and 6 May Park
A strong all-round choice for couples and families. The central beach, mature parkland, Dolphinarium and city centre remain close. International full-service hotels cluster along Rustaveli Avenue.
New Boulevard
Best for newer towers, sea views, apartment-style space and long walks by the water. The area is less atmospheric than Old Batumi and often requires transport for evening trips to the historic centre.
Gonio and Kvariati
Choose the southern coast for a quieter beach-led stay and a backdrop of green hills. These areas suit slow holidays more than daily city sightseeing. Confirm transport, restaurants and beach access around the exact property.
Makhinjauri and Green Cape
North of Batumi, these areas suit visitors drawn to greenery and the Botanical Garden. The official Ajara tourism guide places Makhinjauri about 7 kilometres and Green Cape about 9 kilometres from Batumi.
